WELCOME TO WESTSIDE
Working with recommendations from Manitoba Health and local doctors, Westside Community Church will be suspending Sunday gatherings and meetings at the church until April 10. We will revisit the prospect of larger gatherings after this, in the days to come.
It is our desire to serve our people and our community and to create safe spaces for all people. Our response is not based in fear but out of love and respect for government leaders, WCC and the greater community.
Matthew 6:34 (The Message) - "Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes."
This is a great time to rely on God, and not freak out! Also a great opportunity to step up and bless people. We are a part of the solution. Our community needs us and we have the privilege to respond in hope and love.
Westside Community Church is a vibrant and growing church community in Morden, Manitoba. Our vision is to be a vibrant church that engages all generations to be rooted in scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit to respond to our world with grace and love.
ABOUT OUR CHURCH
We definitely aren’t perfect, but we desire to see people follow Jesus in the way He calls us. There’s no need to dress fancy, we’re a pretty relaxed group that loves Jesus, people, music and really good coffee.
No matter your age there is a place for you to blend in, build relationships, and get involved with our Ministries here at Westside. From Children's & Youth Ministries, to Fusion Group Bible Studies, to travelling abroad to the jungles of DR of Congo.
At Westside we believe everyone has value and want to see them be part of what God is doing. Find out more information on our ministries and how you can get involved.
