ABOUT US

Westside Community Church

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

We definitely aren’t perfect, but we desire to see people follow Jesus in the way He calls us.  There’s no need to dress fancy, we’re a pretty relaxed group that loves Jesus, people, music and really good coffee.

MINISTRIES

No matter your age there is a place for you to blend in, build relationships, and get involved with our Ministries here at Westside. From Children's & Youth Ministries, to Small Group Bible Studies, to travelling abroad to the jungles of DR of Congo.

OUR VISION

Is to be a vibrant church engaging all generations to be rooted in scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit to respond to our world with grace and love.

OUR STORY

The Westside story begins in the years between 1923 and 1930 when a small group of Mennonites emigrated to Morden from Russia.  At that time many of them attended the local Lutheran church because services were in German.  By 1929 the group of Mennonites emigrating from Russia was increasing and so the desire was to start their own church, so in January 1930 the group formed an official congregation under the leadership of D.D. Toews.
